Gypsy Jazz in the Park
Tatiana Eva Marie is regarded as the world's leading gypsy swing singer and has enchanted audiences around the world with the gentle clarity of her voice.
Tatiana was born and brought up in Switzerland and from an early age she developed a love of swing and gypsy jazz. Tatiana now lives in New York where she leads the Avalon Jazz Band, but in August brings a touch of 1930's Parisian style to Norfolk.
She will be accompanied by a string trio led by acclaimed jazz harpist Ben Creighton Griffiths who has performed regularly in North Norfolk with his Transatlantic Hot Club to enthusiastic audiences.
Monthly Open Gardens.
Come along on the first Tuesday of each month from April to September to look around the walled garden at Salle.
Still a working kitchen garden to this day, the walled garden comprises; vine house, glass house, herbaceous borders, herb garden, fruit quarter, vegetable plots, a heritage orchard and an ice house.
Our friendly gardeners will be on hand to discuss the garden and answer any questions you might have.

NGS Open Gardens
Sunday 14th July
This year we participated in the National Gardens Scheme Open Gardens Event. The event raised over £3,000 for NGS’s associated charities.
As usual, there was delicious tea and home made cake for sale in the Orangery, the sale of which brought in a further £2,500 split between the You Are Not Alone (YANA) Charity and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
We will have news of our 2025 open gardens and the Charity we will be supporting early in the new year.
Other Events at Salle
On occasion we like to put on events in the grounds of the Hall, like the wonderful theatre events put on by Heartbreak Productions that we hosted in 2023.
2024 will see us pivot away from events in favour of focusing on and investing in our core business activities, namely farming and property. This has coincided with our friends at Heartbreak Productions taking a break from touring this year as well.
We do not as yet know what will happen in 2025 with Heartbreak or ourselves.
